Oscar Castañeda is a Phoenix immigration attorney whose introduction to issues relating to entry into the United States began as a child, growing up in the border town of Nogales, Arizona. During his upbringing, Oscar saw on a regular basis the struggles of people attempting to deal with criminal and immigration issues. That experience formed the basis of Oscar’s desire to help those struggling with immigration and related issues. He has been practicing law in Arizona for almost 15 years and has concentrated his practice in the area of immigration law.
After graduating from Arizona State in 2003, Oscar Castañeda was accepted at ASU’s Law School, where he was awarded his Juris Doctorate in 2006. While attending law school, Oscar worked for a local criminal defense law firm, as well as an immigration firm, learning how best to protect a client’s interests and obtain the most favorable result possible. He then honed his skills by working for a large Phoenix criminal defense firm and partnered with his brother in a firm practicing both immigration and criminal law. He has now formed his own immigration law firm, Castañeda Immigration Law, to better serve his clients seeking assistance in immigration matters.
Oscar’s experience in this area includes all facets of immigration, including applications for naturalization and citizenship, entry into the United States, Green Cards, asylum, refugee status, visas, tourist visas, bond hearings, waiver applications, deportation defense and a host of other matters related to citizenship and entry into the United States.
